Julian Yap (aka jyap/jyap808) launched his Pando58, a 58-key columnar cut up keyboard pushed by RP2040 Zero controllers. Named after the Pando tree.

This is the keyboard I have been engaged on for the previous few months. I designed the PCB which I’ve made open supply. Featured is my each day driver customized case which is created from stainless-steel sheet metallic (lower by SendCutSend) and 3D printed center part – Julian.

There’s additionally a 3D-printed case, in addition to layered FR4 sandwich model.

The board options RJ45 Ethernet for interconnect as a substitute of TRRS audio cables which lets you hotplug with out concern of shorting the MCU.
